Yes, it's fascism, and let's call it like we see it, but it just seems... it feels like Trump is an anti-LBJ (rolling back rights / the Great Society) who's aspiring to be an anti-FDR (rolling back all progress since the 1929 crash).

Some leaders are nation builders. Others are nation destroyers.

I'm seeing some people not take this seriously. It is. Trump wants to control the stories you get to see. The empathy and cross-cultural understanding we cultivate when we engage with international film is a threat to the parochial, cowering worldview he wants to force upon us.
