Every time I listen to @goldsquadrongays.bsky.social I ask myself, did I remember to take my PREP today?

It’s good to know that it was Tylenol. I always assumed it was the copious amounts of cocaine my Mom did while she was pregnant, but thank god for pseudo-science.

This pathetic factotum is bathing himself in the fetid attention he gets from the media, especially from water-carrying “podcasters.” His flaccid posturing would be sad if it were not quite so obviously venal www.politico.com/news/2025/09...

And Iger should be on stage with him to send a message that the Walt Disney Company still values fundamental American principles.
Kimmel should say why we he damn well thinks he should say. And stuck to his guns. And demand the support of execs.
Seeing a lot of reaction posts out there saying Jimmy Kimmel was fired, but no, he wasn’t.

The following is a statement from the WGA on ABC’s decision to pull ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’
WGA Statement on ABC's Decision to Pull ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’
The right to speak our minds and to disagree with each other - to disturb, even - is at the very heart of what it means to be a free people. It is not to be denied. Not by violence, not by the abuse of governmental power, nor by acts of corporate cowardice.
As a Guild, we stand united in opposition to anyone who uses their power and influence to silence the voices of writers, or anyone who speaks in dissent. If free speech applied only to ideas we like, we needn't have bothered to write it into the Constitution. What we have signed on to - painful as it may be at times - is the freeing agreement to disagree.
Shame on those in government who forget this founding truth. As for our employers, our words have made you rich.
Silencing us impoverishes the whole world.
The WGA stands with Jimmy Kimmel and his writers.

Silly Jimmy Kimmel. He should have just called for all homeless people to be killed and he’d still have a job.

ROVE: “.. Using Charlie’s murder to justify retaliation against political rivals is wrong and dangerous. It will further divide and embitter our country. No good thing will come of it.”

There is no more unctous a toady in the Trump administration than fussy speech police officer Brendan Carr and it is a high bar. But this thirsty factotum manages to clear the bar easily.

Ah yes, this is important background info. Sinclair is Bond-level supervillainry and more people need to be aware of it.
While you still can, if you’re asking “who’s Sinclair?” John Oliver has you covered:

“cAnCeL cUlTuRe OvErReAcH!”
“PrOtEcT fReE sPeEcH!”

Such outrage over what’s, in truth, a rather milk-toast statement of fact about what’s actually happening—and far milder than anything said by those he referenced.

But once again, it’s never what fascists say, but what they do that matters.
