This is an earthworm.
AN EARTHWORM.
I don't know what they put in the soil in Croatia, but this bad boy is almost three times as long as my foot, and I have impressively large feet (size 8.5 UK / 10.5 US).

For some reason, my daughter does not like my nosferatu impression DESPITE the fact I’ve performed it at every available opportunity for the last three weeks.

I have a little plea and it's this: please keep posting about things that aren't The Horrors. I am not saying to not look at or be informed about The Horrors. What I am saying—what I am genuinely kind of begging you to do—is keep posting about books and movies and sunsets and pets and joy. Please.

Minah is my favourite traitor so far. If she doesn’t make it to the final I’ll be so upset.

It would have to be a VERY good book…

It would save everyone a lot of time if the whole Republican Party and all their techy mates would just read The Future by Naomi Alderman.

Just in from mammoth interview session to two bits of news. One that a DV perp got locked up because of something I did and that a vulnerable constituent had a a massive wrongful debt written off after our intervention. This is why I came to politics, this is why I'll just keep cracking on.

Hello, Bluesky! I thought I'd post this again since I've just had a sudden flurry of new followers. I've gone freelance since being made redundant, offering all of these services, and I'm now booking for March onwards.

Highly recommended: DEADLY ANIMALS, Marie Tierney’s ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ debut. A very dark and disturbing story. Great characters, a creepy premise, and confidently written. Admittedly I’m biased because it’s set around south Birmingham, where I grew up 😂 An excellent first novel.

A lot of things suck in this lifetime, but I remember when the thought of this was incomprehensible. This is beautiful.

You had a lucky escape.
It was always the weird, plastic wrapped burger cheese that would ripple if you poked it.

You had to choose? I remember it being both - an egg on the side, pineapple on top and then peas and chips. The Hungry Horse kids’ special 😂
spookyrebecca.bsky.social
Does anyone still eat gammon with a pineapple ring and slice of cheese on top?
As a child of the ‘80s the thought of this still gives me nightmares.
