Akigane isn’t going to retire. The world-ending threats might be over but he’s still travelling around and helping random people with their problems and he joins right back up with the new crop of heroes to fix things.

Akigane and Haurchefant skipped straight to husbands coz marriage was the only way to get Akigane into Ishgard for HW.

Kazuryu gave Akigane boyfriend status when he introduced him to Daidukul and blanked on any other possible word to describe their relationship and they agreed it was fine.

Akigane is often absent. He tried to convince Kazuryu to leave Haruka behind with another clan when they found her, he abandoned Musashi as a baby coz he thought he was stillborn, and Cyrille was mostly raised in House Fortemps by servants.

ALL his partners are much better at fatherhood than him.

They’ve made four m/m duos in the entirety of the game: Ephraim/Lyon, Chrom/M!Robin, Leif/Seliph and Roy/Eliwood. Percy and Arthur aren’t getting shit based on this list. Like Percy has the chance to be on like one banner ever, but Arthur‘s never even getting a resplendent.

Honestly my biggest hope for Percy if they never let his base in is some silly one-off theme banner that he and Arthur get to duo on. But that would be letting two men get the duo slot and they can’t do that because it would be a crime.

I knew they saved location but I was expecting that I’d come to in the water instead of falling out of the sky. Unfortunately I didn’t get the full effect because they’re trying to push returner on Akigane so my screen was blocked.

But I left other characters in similar places so I’ll see it again.

When I last played XIV I’d left my character on the moonfire cruise ship laying on one of the loungers, so it was very funny to sign back in and see watch my WoL dramatically plummet into the water and take a ton of damage.

I will say though the little clear pilot converters are trash so you’ll need either a syringe if you want to use them or choose a different pilot converter. I admittedly use one because it’s cute in my clear Kakuno so I deal with it.

Been using fountain pens for over a decade and I absolutely prefer converters. It gives a much wider range of ink options without having to toss tons of cartridges.

The only downside is that carrying around a bottle of ink is a bit dangerous so you just need to check on your ink and plan ahead.

For what it’s worth, Akigane WOULD go after Izzy and/or Frenchie {coz they’re both his type} if he could find a way to make either/both of them a foot taller.

It’s what I’ve built Mnemosyne on, it’s how I’ve rendered him out in other games where there haven’t been options to make something like an Au Ra and M!Elezen have my favorite race specific hairstyle in the game.
