I killed a lot of time trying to train Detectron2 to better handle all these various emails, but the redactions and weird merges of emails and docs were...

Man, this job market.

Been in IT for literal decades, and after a long stretch of getting ghosted—with a sneaking suspicion that a former employer blackballed me for not putting up with her narcissism/racism—or aged out, I’m now a seasonal driver for UPS, and officially a Teamster. Feels good, tbh.

Journalists, researchers: I've started building a more organized corpus of the Epstein Estate Documents "Seventh Production" from November 11 for you.

Multi-page docs are merged to single PDFs (OCR text merged too). iMessages extracted to transcripts. And more is coming.

Once fingerprinted, FBI's NCIC and NGI databases had permanent records for these students.

This story proves that DHS is correlating their data with FBI data without analyzing it.

For DHS, just being in NCIC is the context that establishes their desired pretext: you're a national security threat.

Feeding is, naturally, where the Panican's unique morphology truly comes into play. The wide, shallow pan acts much like a traditional pelican's scoop, trapping unsuspecting fish. But then... a subtle difference.

And all those groups that are terrified of police, and yes, with good fucking reason? They can't "work with police", but those of us with the privilege of being cis while males sure as fuck can advocate for them during a protest, stand in front of them, and make it clear we're all non-violent.
Fascist governments systematically dismantle independent police forces & replace them with paramilitary militias that serve the regime. _Those_ were the SA that you (obviously haven't) read about. 50501's engagement with democratic law enforcement is precisely what sets it apart from fascist regimes

Pro tip for estimating crowd sizes:

1. determine the approximate square footage of space taken up by the crowd (using google earth’s measurement tools, for example)

2. is it packed? divide by 2.5

3. crowded but allowing for comfortable movement? divide by 5 instead

4. you have your answer

@seamus.bsky.social, I was listening to a podcast about Brian Morden, whose “Make a Wish Foundation” wish was to visit Bungie (part of MS by then).

He described meeting a big guy in a lab coat who stomped on an Xbox prototype to prove its durability before playing a game together.

Was that you?

Ratcliff just said China's growing foothold in Central America is dangerous because they were using, among other things, "direct aid."

Yet we gave up the very same sort of "soft support" tool—USAID—that China continues to employ.

Nobody in this administration is representing American interests.

Only Congress can preempt state laws.

The Elections Clause of the U.S. Constitution (Article I, Section 4), says that while states have the initial power to prescribe the "times, places and manner of holding elections," Congress has the power to "at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations".

This specifically suspends subsection (o) of 5 U.S.C. 552a (the Privacy Act of 1974), which (before this EO) forced agencies to enter into a written agreement that protects private information and provides oversight when sharing their data with another agency.

Aside from the federal crimes committed by the administration while discussing a military operation on Signal, there's one staggering lack of OPSEC that struck me:
