Bob produced Spacemen 3's debut Sound Of Confusion when their fist choice, Pat Fish, wasn't available. The band weren't impressed with the results, but it works well as a record of their early heavy sound.

38 years ago this evening, Spacemen 3 played a gig at the Zap Club in Brighton. This was the night when the South of England was hit by a huge storm. The damage was extensive, with an estimated 15 million trees torn down, and there were several deaths.
