Thanks to the lobbying of thousands of parents, including our #SaveOurChildrensRights campaign, the mood over the future of #EHCPs seems to have shifted. Keep up the great work! Starmer on collision course with MPs who fear SEND reforms mean ‘austerity’ inews.co.uk/news/education/s...

A reluctant share, but it’s important for every SEND parent to understand what his party thinks of them (if you didn’t already): SEND provision is being "hijacked by parents who are abusing the system", the deputy leader of Reform UK has said. www.bbc.com/news/articles/cp...

DR UK Campaigner Mikey Erhardt spoke with Sky News about the Government's chaos and mismanagement, juggling Disabled people's lives.

How on earth can they ever expect us to trust them moving forward after this calamity?

Thank you.

There has been no public consultation with disabled people about the proposals on PIP. This is not just about process, it makes disabled people worse off.

I've just asked the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what she will do to ensure her department regains the trust of disabled people.

Thank you.
The PIP and UC bill is an attack on disabled people.

I will be voting against the bill today to make clear disabled people matter and that I recognise the additional costs of navigating a world built for neurotypical, healthy people.

Second attempt to post today’s @quietriotpod.bsky.social. I’ll only add that the quiet empathy shown here over the recent PIP chaos was personally moving (my family has had a triple whammy of serious health issues over 3 years). And the trade news, neglected elsewhere, gave me hope.

Thank you. This bill has been rushed through and will be very harmful to disabled people and their carers.

I am hearing from constituents who are still desperately concerned about the Welfare Bill, and what it will mean not only for their future but for young people as well. I will be voting against this cruel bill - please encourage your local MP to do the same.

'The hefty cut to health-related support, around 50%, will remain in place for new claimants. A dramatic rise in poverty is inevitable.'

A new study shows ADHD is not be coming more common, but that greater awareness and acceptance are likely to be encouraging more people to seek help. This is undoubtedly the same for autism.

This role is too important to be an add on, SENCOs should be included in senior leadership and SEND funding should be ringfenced!

The DWP consultation fails to ask people to respond to:

Changes to PIP scoring
Abolishing the WCA
Freezing the UC health element
Having a single assessment for both PIP and the UC health element

So you MUST write to your MP about it instead.
