If you have the latest version, just drag and drop mods into the Mods folder the game generates on first boot.

Then press your assigned drift key to go to page 2, where all character mods are kept.

No native Linux version is possible. 2.0 Will launch just via Proton, thanks to the migration from DirectX7 to OpenGL.

A game with "World", available on a powerful handheld console? You better believe it!
Version 2 will have better support with Linux, only requiring Proton to run!
This also fixes the issue launching it as a non-steam game.

Hello, the controller support in the current version is lackluster due to using old dinput drivers. XBox is the one with least issues. We'll be switching drivers next version.

For guides on the current version, try using DS4Windows with Option\Hide DS4
For Switch use BetterJoy.

The multiplayer beta was a independent test to see if it was possible. Since the sole coder of that is working on DX features, it will probably not be touched until 2.0 is ready and stable.
