Get off social media and do literally anything else. Still socialist. Still buddhist. #YNWA he/him I post mostly about #LFC, music, and U.S. politics, and that last one only because our politicians are shit.

“We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art, and very often in our art, the art of words.”

― Ursula K. Le Guin

#NoKings
Here's a few of the photos I took, I think I got everyone's faces obscured well, let me know if not.
What is a disco nap and why do I want one? 😂
Highlands Ranch turned out. 😂 For a largely white suburb, there were a lot of people there, and lots of drivers honking in support.

And to be honest, I choked up a little. Glad to see so many of my neighbors feel the way I do, that this administration does not represent us.
From the lawn of Denver’s Capitol complex to the streets of Grand Junction, Coloradans gathered across the state today as part of the national “No Kings” movement to protest the policies and actions of President Donald Trump // Coverage from @katielang.bsky.social

I wasn’t in the room because I have a really hard time watching my loved ones in pain (and also because I’m her dad 😄) but I’m so glad my wife and her husband were there. I was there for both of my kids and it’s one of the privileges of my life to have supported my wife as we welcomed our kids. ❤️
Thanks! This would be the 4th thing I’d have his signature on. 😄 I asked him to sign my CD inserts for Taxman and Workers Playtime when he was at the Gothic (? 🤔) a few years back. And a friend bought me the vol 1 box set as well that was signed.

Billy’s the best.
Didn’t realize you were here! Polis has been so disappointing but I suppose many of the governors of blue states have in their own ways. Definitely not voting for Bennet in the primary, Weiser leaves some things to be desired as well but I’d almost prefer him.
👀 Whoa! I need a copy of this!!
🥹🥹🥹😭😭😭 My wife was there with our daughter when she gave birth this past summer, I hope we always have our grandkids in our lives as well.
I was a little jealous when the east & west coast health alliances were lined up & CO seemed left out, I hope this is solid and gets stronger when we get a new governor next year.
You’re so good, Elaine. 😌 I’m sure she always will want you around. ☺️
Worth the watch for sure. Class from Curtis and the club to boost Gayle and remind us that his story wasn’t so long ago.
I’m so sorry. It’s the hardest decision to make. ❤️🌈
So much!! And I never played racists or other problematic artists. 😄 Alt country tended to be past that.

Listening to Ryan’s album now, Bread & Water was my fave. I just drove through the Sangre de Cristo’s the other day! tidal.com/browse/track...

I used to program the alt-country station on an Internet radio service and I’d cycle through songs from this record. Great album.
That’s the most amazing thing- he was only 26!! All that music and soul and he had his whole life ahead of him. 😔 I read a bio on him, what a life he had. I also picked his greatest hits for one of the episodes on the podcast I used to be on. Just wanted more of the world to appreciate his talent.
Otis is the best.
