I keep thinking about how @chenoweth.bsky.social said the two most useful emotions for effective resisters are hope AND anger. When I find myself getting really angry, I try to remember that is a valid and helpful emotion as long as it prompts me to action, rather than cynicism.

fun fact: if you draw fanart for a game within the first week of any sort of major PR event for it (announcement, demo, release etc) there is a 99% chance the entire dev team on the game knows who you are because they are doing nothing but reposting fanart in slack
