The UAW filed a lawsuit in March 2024 showing that the exclusion of casino workers from the Smoke Free Air Act is unconstitutional. That case has been in the Appellate Division for a year with no hearing. Meanwhile, workers keep getting sick. www.nj.com/politics/202...

The health impacts of secondhand smoke are well documented. The CDC has found that one hour of exposure to second-hand smoke can cause bodily changes that lead to cancer, stroke, heart disease, & other serious illnesses. It is unfathomable to subject people to those dangers for corporate greed.
