Another reason to hate AI… it decided that I should pay over 2x as much for an @mlive.com subscription! Did it just scrape tax assessor data and decide we’re rich? Just going to cancel.

Shocking absolutely no one, people with PtP signs on Granger are not handing out candy tonight. #a2council

Hallowe'en is just around the corner and it is one of the most dangerous days for children. Here are some safety tips:

1) Avoid hitting children with your pickup truck, SUV or other motor vehicle. It is technically against the law to harm or kill a child with your vehicle and you could be charged.

So @jasonmorganmi.bsky.social (on Instagram) says the schools *should* have the money to fund free breakfast and lunch, if I heard him correctly. No update from AAPS, but that’s enough for me to not worry about figuring out their awful meal payment system today. #a2schools #a2council #a2schoolboard

Okay, this is officially annoying. It’s an hour and a half past the noise ordinance, I have all my windows closed and the music is very audible 0.7 miles away from the stadium. Come on.

The gang of malcontents who worked against the vote for a new downtown library this summer looking dumber every day. Thank goodness they lost! #a2council
⚠️ Due to a sewage emergency, the Downtown Library will be closed until further notice (Thursday, Sept. 25).

We hope to reopen as soon as we can and apologize for any inconvenience.

Frito the orange kitten update: Fully integrated into the family! Not really kitten sized anymore. Predicted to be ~12 pound big boy.

The poetic irony of carrying 4 high-vis orange pedestrian flags to drop off at an intersection near the kids’ elementary school still nearly getting hit by a distracted driver while crossing Packard. #a2council

“You’re doing such a great job! Keep up the good work, Frito! I’m so proud of you!” - Kid to our sleeping kitten

“What’s he doing that’s so great? He’s sleeping!” - Me

“Being cute. That’s his job.” - Kid

So behind on Planning Commission but the commenters that seem to think their personal property is going to be somehow eminently domained by being put in transition zone in the CLUP are… wtf. #a2council

Blaming the bike lanes (when the landlord raises the rent 30% and there were zero bike lanes or changes to your street!) on your way out the door. Classy! #a2council

Oriol from @aadl.org Nerd Nite (last night) was very correct in his El Harissa recommendation. Plus many #SummerGame codes were found visiting the north side of A2, not my usual area.

Yesterday I watched student renters on Packard throw empty liquor bottles out their front window into a recycling bin for 5 minutes straight, while drinking my chai latte at Argus and laughing my ass off. Why does no one talk about the sheer entertainment value of living near undergrads? #a2council

The timing of my family being featured in this article on the amazing @aadl.org Summer Game has given me the opportunity to tell all my local friends who text me in excitement to VOTE YES ON PROPS A and B tomorrow! #a2council, #a2schools, #a2schoolboard
