Another reason to hate AI… it decided that I should pay over 2x as much for an @mlive.com subscription! Did it just scrape tax assessor data and decide we’re rich? Just going to cancel.

We got a reprieve until October 8th.

Frito the orange kitten update: Fully integrated into the family! Not really kitten sized anymore. Predicted to be ~12 pound big boy.

Obviously the new mascot for @aadl.org Akako G. Shins is in a maize and blue outfit!

Blaming the bike lanes (when the landlord raises the rent 30% and there were zero bike lanes or changes to your street!) on your way out the door. Classy! #a2council

Oriol from @aadl.org Nerd Nite (last night) was very correct in his El Harissa recommendation. Plus many #SummerGame codes were found visiting the north side of A2, not my usual area.

TFW you go over the schedule for the next day with your husband that includes him dropping up and picking up a kid at tutoring, helping coach a kid baseball game, then placing signs for YES on A&B all over downtown polling locations, all bc he married and mated with hyperactive you. #a2council

Me, a well-known parent in the Burns Park Elementary community trying to politely and kindly explain to parent peers and neighbors why the CLUP isn’t that bad since March. (Actual #a2council members and planning commissioners must be beyond exhausted)

Okay, Ann Arbor, who did this for their #SummerGame code?! Crying laughing and my kids don’t understand why.

Playing the #SummerGame with a new kitten going as expected. 😹

This picture of the family schedule for just the front half of this week might explain why so many civic engagement events tend to over represent the elderly. Can’t believe I had to add a library advocacy row for this summer to counteract the antis!

My children grow weary of the mamarazzi at Westgate. It’s possible I’ve taken their pictures in the hive seating a lot. 🤷‍♀️ At least G was dutifully writing down a #SummerGame code.

New “baby” at home means we’re not going to be at quite as many #SummerGame events, I think. Meet Frito, #a2council and #a2schools people.

I really would like to ask her when she last attended an event here to know the current building is meeting needs. Standing room only for many parents and grandparents assisting kids in a “dino dig” even on a beautiful day to be outside.

An A2FixIt win today. #a2council

🎶It’s the hap-happiest season of all🎶 Our first code of the @aadl.org Summer Game 2025!

The city tried raised crosswalks on Granger east of Packard in Burns Park. The results are underwhelming. The explanation I got is ADA compliance means the sidewalk cuts must angle down to the street and the angle up can’t be too steep, so they are barely perceptible driving over. #a2council

Behind on my @jeopardyofficial.bsky.social episodes but the 5/1 episode!

Had a neighbor cut this out of their Observer as “proof that you’re wrong.” Everybody knows parking is the number one determinant of a successful business, no other factors, and certainly not what a known difficult landlord charges or demands. 😑

Noooo! Do the @aadl.org Friends have the pint glasses in stock at their shop still? 😬
