Another better-late-than-never arcade conversion picked up an Ace : Deanysoft's pixel-perfect GORF.

Sloany reckoned that this version 'not only looks the part, with its colourful bezel and spot-on graphics, but it's an absolute joy to play.'

Frogger RX was Issue 2's cover star and with good reason.
Dave reckoned it was 'quite simply a perfect ZX-Spectrum Frogger'.
There are a huge number of Frogger-style games on the Speccy, but this is the first one to really nail the visuals, controls and music.

If you enjoy comedy horrors, the overlooked gem 'Housebound' is on BBC2 at 00.50, tonight.

The movie poster for "Housebound" (2014) which shows a slightly unusual family portrait sitting within a weathered wooden frame. The family consists of a smiling mother, a scowling daughter, a somewhat bemused stepfather and a terrifying figure under a stitched sheet with its taloned hand resting on the daughter's shoulder.

Not that our game is done & the reviews for Break Space are sorted I had a rare afternoon of just playing games for the sake of it. 😱

Just spent the last hour playing Spectrum Next platformer "O" and it's bloody brilliant.

Have to say, who the hell is playing it in "5 lives" mode? It's brutal.

Echoes of the Future, a time-hopping text adventure, was next. A inertia-sapping maze section towards the end couldn't dampen our enthusiasm, with Mpk opining that 'the puzzles are naturalistic and logical throughout'.

FB Memories reminds me of the time those lads who were selling a bowl of Lucky Charms for six quid a pop got a book deal and produced the laziest 'Will this do?' thing ever published.

No wonder they sidelined him & stuck a big price sticker over his face in the budget re-release.
