while contemporaneously holding the view that women shouldn't get so drunk that they wind up "in compromising situations"; let's not forget his suckitude contains multitudes, but everyone was excited to excuse that one
He just fascinates me: he was so difficult and such a relic and a genius and a jerk all at once, and I think everyone should read his weird, fussy, brilliant takes! They don’t make em like that anymore.

Oh man, I am reading this too and it’s the best
Sounds like he does.
Finding out a lot of things about a lot of people today!
lol that's very sweet
somehow for dudes like Platner, "I was really into WWII" never means "I read my copy of The Diary of Anne Frank until the cover fell of," does it
I was a white boy who was really into WWII stuff and did not have a Nazi phase!
this also drives me insane, this idea that it is the most normal thing in the world for a young (white) man to have a nazi curious phase. it isn’t!
i wasn't saying "i have a bad feeling about this guy" to be POLITE, next time i'll get on my high horse sooner if it makes this person happy
you must not be the salt of the earth
he really does have that "i'm going to be SO mean to you in private and tell you i was just joking" bernie-bro energy that we're all supposed to think is very authentic
i'm out at SS tattoos and i'm curious about why so many people aren't! really learning some things today
