Which I find weird because I used to LOVE that stuff. Not just in xenofiction but high fantasy in general used to be my jam. Idk what changed.

I do still enjoy low fantasy to an extent but I really don't get that invested in high fantasy anymore (aside from LotR and HDM bc nostalgia). It just isn't really my thing anymore, it seems.

Something I've really started to notice with a lot of books I've been reading recently is that I think I've fallen out of love with the fantasy genre. At least when it has a lot of magic or complex world-building going on it's just really not been my cup'a tea lately.
