Been on a real Thunderbirds kick recently. Currently watching the Mighty Atom. It is a real low point of an amazing show. Feels like someone just wanted to make a joke about Lady Penelope being scared of Mice. I couldn’t tell you what any of this had been about.

75 Years Ago TODAY the Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society was formed. Following this, on the 14th May 1951 the TRPS ran their first train kick starting the global railway preservation movement as the World’s First Preserved Railway.

Thanks matey! Just a bit of a heady cold and feeling achey! But I totally agree in terms of a comfort watch! Especially the episode, I remember watching it on video as a kid so much! Also who doesn’t like the Monorail, so so cool x
Watching Thunderbirds, not feeling all that well. But The Perils of Penelope is a total banger.
Never seen so many bucket hats in all my life.
Getting back on the tube; full of Oasis fans. Trying to get back a different way. I hate crowds and I’m not good being in one. This isn’t my vibe at all.
Gap between shift today; too short to go home and come back. So I popped into the BFI archive! Really nice to do!

It's time to say it again. It's always time to say it. It's always true. Freedom is the right of all sentient beings.
Interesting way to wrap up a RWS book… ordered Great Little Engine of Vinted, and this is how it came!
Just found some pictures from 2020, I don't know what I was cooking here, but I quite like it!
He never did learn sense
It's such an excellently made programme, especially for the time! Like it has a charm all of it's own! I am a big fan of OG Fireman Sam. I haven't even seen any BTS Pics! I'd just love to know how big the sets were, how long episode would take to make, etc!
They made so many good shows. A real real shame to hear they are closing their doors. Thinking of their employees today!
Nelvana, one of Canada’s most biggest animation studios has reportedly shut down after 54 years. (1974-2025).

Workers are saying the studio has closed down its doors last Friday.

On this day in 1957 "The Eight Famous Engines" was published

"Gordon Goes Foreign" marked the only appearance of the Big City Engine
"The Fat Controllers Engines" marked Jinty and Pugs only appearances

Happy 68th anniversary!

I've been drawing TV Series engines in the Railway Series style for a while, but I've neglected to draw the ones that started it all! Here's a video on the engines introduced in Season 5!
