It's actually not obvious, since voters consistently said their #1 issue was the economy, which isn't immigration or trans issues or crime or any of the areas where leftwing policy is unpopular. What's actually obvious is that the election was decided by inflation.
well, but he's not just some random guy. He's the leftist candidate in a high-profile D primary. I mean obviously the left should just abandon him and find a new candidate (his campaign was already exploding before this!) but there is a reason why some people feel invested in him.

Honestly I think this is too cynical. Wealthy people are more likely to vote Republican, so it's easier to argue why Republicans want people to be rich. Those states vote Democratic for other demographic reasons. Plus creating a popular program is a great way for a state politician to get votes
Well his other company (Square) is also quite successful, and its success has more to do with him than Twitter's did
I have played at least a half dozen metroidvanias with a map like this, some of which are older than hollow knight. You can't rip off an idea that wasn't original in the first place.
