Time with the family I chose has been MUCH needed.

I might be able to return to the office on Monday. Here's hoping they still want me back after being out with Covid, RSV, a lymphatic infection, & a bum hip for almost 2 months 😅

Trying to work overtime where I can - and that leaves some time to kill, since I have a tendency to do a lot of chores and extra stuff during my shifts at work. 😅 Been very efficient with my hours, so it’s nice to have a more cosy winter season! In other words - xmas avatar done!

“Stasis” is a portrait painted by the artist Zara Alfonso, and is the first piece in her series about invisible illness. A portrait painting of a girl with skin so pale she’s almost translucent, her lips are tinged blue and she gazes upward through seemingly unseeing eyes. Pale moths and winged insects cover the expanse of her face and body, blending into her skin in places.
