What I really hate is that we still call it sideloading. As Louis Rossman has highlighted a few times, it is INSTALLING software on MY COMPUTER! It is my device and if I fuck up it is my fault. Yes, some ppl are more vulnerable to social engineering attacks but this isn’t the solution

Game companies should release their old proprietary engine tools.
What's the harm in releasing your stuff you used to make games with on like, the Dreamcast? Or like, Bioware's old engines?
Video game companies are way too greedy about dead, useless shit (like IP they're never going to use ever).

a take that companies hate: if i can't purchase a game for the original platform it came out for, from the publisher, I *WILL* pirate the ROM for the game, as it is not making the wallet of the company any bigger or smaller

i swear iphone quality has went down the drain in the last couple years.
my iphone 15 has went through 2 major os updates and it already has speed and stuttering issues while my 8 only became a bit slower than factory and used a bit more battery
