Hey everyone, I figured it would be a good idea to make a pinned post. My name is Teri and I am photographer. These days I shoot a lot of nature and wildlife, although I have been known to photograph anything that inspires me. Thanks for following along!

Water moccasin or cottonmouth aka the grouchyist snake in America. They just want to be left alone or admired from a distance. Great Horned Owl - These two are just babies. I spent an entire afternoon watching them. Golden Orb Weaver - They create beautiful golden webs. American Alligator - Although dangerous they really don't pose a threat to us provided we give them respect and distance.

Two posts in a single day! I genuinely miss witnessing the beautiful Midwest sunsets. It’s ironic that I couldn’t leave the place fast enough when I was younger, yet now I crave a much simpler life. Feeling nostalgic today.

I totally forgot to post this, I actually had a date last night! You can’t tell from the photo, but I was really nervous. I haven’t exactly dated much in the last four years so this was pretty new for me. I’m really happy to say that it went very well,I guess we’ll see what the future brings

This cursed picture comes with a fable from the locals which l will re-tell to thee and comes after the description. The image shows a vast, churning ocean under a blood-red sky. Heavy, jagged clouds loom like shadows, smothering most of the light. The waves are restless, clawing upward as if reaching for something unseen. Near the horizon, a faint sun struggles to rise or perhaps it sinks, drowning beneath the cursed sea. Every crest of water is tinted crimson, as though the ocean itself has been stained with blood. Taken on the West Sussex coast, our picture is finished off with a black border frame. And now….our fable…. The sea was not always red. Sailors say the colour first came on a night when the sun refused to set. For hours, it clung to the edge of the horizon, its dying light turning the waves to fire. Then came the screams. The kind that don’t echo but cling to your bones, as if whispered inside your skull. Those who looked too long at the horizon swore they saw shapes in the water, faces forming in the foam, arms stretching upward in agony before shattering into spray. The ocean began to thrash violently, as if something ancient and furious stirred beneath and when dawn finally broke, it never truly lifted the red. The sea had kept it, absorbed it, a memory of blood and flame. To this day, no ship dares cross when the sky turns scarlet, for they say the drowned rise again, pulled upward by waves that no longer crash but claw. Sleep well friends….
