OK, I'm gonna do this, but screw the "likes for answers" thing because I just wanna answer everything, and I'm not gonna be beholden to some silly restriction like that. :D :P

I'm excited about this!
It's a good thing I'm playing Pokémon Legends: Z-A in handheld mode...if it wasn't for the low battery, I'd struggle way more to stop playing!
Also, I think I need to go through my boxes and release some duplicates. The game really encourages you to catch whole populations of Pokémon...

Just read a really interesting article that made a compelling argument that the math used to determine the poverty line in the US (3x the cost of groceries back in 1963, adjusted for inflation) no longer works because other expenses have risen far faster than the cost of groceries.

This was by far the BIGGEST challenge I've ever done. This is Dark sun Gwyndolin from Dark souls. My GOODNESS this was difficult and there's still glitter all over the house. 😅 Worth it. Absolutely worth it. I'm sooo happy with how this turned out.

Sheesh, today's been busy!
Not only did Guild Wars: Reforged release today (a significant, though mostly technical, update for one of my all-time favorite games), but Elden Ring: Nightreign's DLC came out today, too!

I remember, when I was a kid, that we'd sometimes get these candlemaking kits where you'd get sheets of dyed beeswax that you'd roll around a wick, and for whatever reason, I'm feeling a strong memory of their scent right now.

My plan was a success!

There are people who complain that Lord of the Rings has too many endings, but frankly, I'm glad for them. I want stories to wind down, to really wrap things up well. I hate it when the end of a story comes, and it just dumps me there. No! Give me that catharsis and denouement!
