Mr Sidhu’s manager Matthew Rumsey showed “little interest” in his complaints of bullying and cared more about sales targets,
Instead of helping Mr Sidhu, the tribunal found Mr Rumsey took clients off him and tried to force him out of the company “because he did not fit in with the team.” #Exertis

And he sent a picture of a Vaseline tub and two fingers, to which Glynn Smith said in front of the team: 'Kieran is definitely going to get f***ed the most'.
The tribunal rejected Stuart Smith's claim that the picture was a reference to "someone's head getting stuck in railings".

Free speech is vital!
Utterly absurd, and wrong, that this post is marked by @bsky.app as "intolerance". In reality it consists of links to serious legal analysis, from someone whose opinion you might agree or disagree with.
I've done a quick round-up of pre-reading for anyone interested in following FWS v Scottish Ministers next week: www.legalfeminist.org.uk/2024/11/23/f...
I haven't been able to find any substantial commentary arguing that SG should win. Please link in reply if you know of any, and I'll add it.

Its a win for the big multinational, like DCC Plc in the Sidhu v Exertis case.
This trend will continue unless the law changes. The government says workers can take cases of bogus self employment to a tribunal. But this takes years & even if successful gig companies just slightly modify their approach claiming the ruling doesn't apply to other workers.

Agree, however nothing is "100%" until the judgement is released.
