Okay I think i figured that weird trend out now... Put one or more characters in the spotlight, make people believe they are the main character, kill them off asap to "subvert expectations".
Echoes doesn't fully fit, but it really feels like that was at least inspired by it. Also He Man comes back.

Started working on a small little post mortem. However, I came to a realization yesterday that, if true, might be way more interesting and important. Can't proof it yet though, so let's wait with that for after my next game. Still gonna share some mistakes I made for gamedev friends. :)
