I’m not Predator-head by any means (only see the OG and PREY) but PREDATOR: BADLANDS is, imo, a fantastic sci-fi action-adventure movie. So much imagination, great pacing, exciting and funny and brimming with cool creatures and tech.
A really cathartic thing in this moment of incandescent rage is Predator: Badlands. Fuckin’ rips. Under 2 hours, monster is hot and emo, Elle Fanning incredible in the murderer’s row of Weyland Yutani synthetics, has perfect sense of humor and pace for its barbarian tone. Knows how to be a movie.

sorry I absolutely REFUSE to accept Dave Franco, Allison Williams and Scott Eastwood cast as the parents of teenagers. This is anti-Millennial terrorism

ROOFMAN is really good, and an excellent star vehicle for Channing Tatum. He’s such a great screen presence, and it strikes me that you could do a survey of American class politics through his career, from A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints to the Magic Mike trilogy to Logan Lucky to Roofman.

Saw ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER a second time. One of the year’s great masterpieces. Incredible action staging, great dialogue, wonderful performances.

It's my birthday this week but the thing that's making me feel old is scrolling through the Radio 1 Live Lounge channel on youtube and seeing artists I've never heard of covering other artists I've never heard of.

After a long gap due to travelling, I finally saw the last two episodes of Poker Face season 2. A great, great ending to a season that started off a little bit rocky but soon found its footing.
