SO... I'm pretty much done with Fortnite. There were statements made by Tim Sweeney saying that AI usage doesn't need to be disclosed, and then AI usage was found all over this current season- from art to sprays to in-game songs. Between that, and the upcoming shitty wizard collab... Yeah, I'm done.

Started working on images for my GotY + other media post and it's looking increasingly likely that I will not play a tabletop game from 2025 this year. I will be gifting a friend a 2025 game, though. It is possible.

Perhaps incredibly rude of me as a non-sports boy, but my favorite part of Despelote was standing on the bed and listening to the parents talk about the Ecuadorian film scene and how 9/11 fucked them for international distribution.

I dunno. I feel like there are a lot of Animal Crossing players outside of the US, and they kinda made it everyone's problem with Turkey Day when there started to be shared international versions. Like they couldn't even be judicious and make it Canadian Thanksgiving.

I didn't realize FaZe Rug was like... a real persona. I thought it was all a construction for that horrid Alexa ad. It was better when I thought he was just some poorly paid actor.

With GotY and other such annual rumblings, I'm starting to reflect on my year. For me, more has gone right than wrong. I worked on myself mentally and physically and advocated for my wants. I met a ton of new, wonderful friends and put effort into keeping up with my love, existing friends, & family.
