Here's a very old screenshot from Shenmue Online. Though there's a lot that remains unknown about the unreleased MMO, the locations and setting scream Shenmue to us. Maybe one day we'll learn more about this strange chapter of Shenmue's history!

Depending on which photo you choose during this part of the story of Shenmue 1, it stays with you for the next two games and shows that despite the distance, Ryo and Nozomi deeply care about each other a whole lot.
