As much as it is more stable to use v2 Beta in FireAlpaca SE, I try to deal with the v3 bugs because I want to put forth effort in using v3. Trying to learn the software and all after mainly using Clip Studio Paint (still going to use Paint Tool SAI 2 as a supplement to FA SE 3).

Since I have been seeing an art software rank list, I'm going to do my own. Top to bottom is best to worst, and there are many variables for the placement. Ranks are mostly subjective.

For my next video, whenever I get around to it, I would love to test Clip Studio Paint's new fast brush mechanic alongside with other software to see how much faster it is, as well as the quality. I would love to see how it holds up compared to others.

Clip Studio Paint still lacks bristle brushes, which are a game changer. With the new brush speed mechanic finally address and implemented, I don't forsee bristle brushes until at least v6, and that's being generous.

Second test, and the update that I am most eager to try -- the promised faster brushes at a larger size.

First test of Clip Studio Paint's latest update is the new blur options! Clip Studio now offers a standard and a high quality blur option users can choose from!

So Clip Studio Paint updated for subscribers.

If you had issues in regards to pen pressure in FireAlpaca SE 3.0, try this update and see if it will work for you now!

I have been helping out the FireAlpaca developers on Steam and Reddit with the basic inquiries so that they can focus more on the major problems at hand, like getting the pen pressure issue fixed.

People who insist others to pirate Adobe products instead of encouraging them to try out non-Adobe products are some of the most boring people on the planet.
December 1, 2025 at 4:36 PM
I suppose I understand why the FireAlpaca developers held back on releasing 3.0 earlier this year, with the major bugs in 3.0. I'm happy that they got better in communicating with their users.

I'm probably going to stop responding to comments and replies regarding Clip Studio Paint in 2026. I really don't care about that software anymore.

By the way, I'm not entirely sure if I want to start posting artwork on here again. I pretty much made Bluesky a place where I ramble my thoughts rather than another site to upload my artwork.

I don't miss DeviantART for the most part. I could have tolerated the Eclipse update, albeit super ugly, but when it came to them encouraging AY EYE artwork, that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I have thought about, in 2026, to purge any social media that I don't really use all that much anymore. However, this made me realize that I do have some socials to see if I can find artwork of obscure characters that I like.

The fact that I have been seeing people using auto-save feature as the primary method, rather than a supplement to manually saving, to saving their work is rather a sad situation.

I seen "SEGA criticism" and I heard that they're delisting games and items last only a certain amount of time in some of their games. This is FOMO, which I hate, and it stinks that both Nintendo AND Sega are doing this. It's really annoying.

I just want to make this post as a reminder that I am not affiliated in any way with FireAlpaca. What I do is just volunteer work from my own accord, meaning that none of the FA developers are asking me to do anything like this.

I can't help but to find it obnoxious as to how quick people changed their reviews on FireAlpaca SE to negative because 3.0 launch was is bugged, even when they provided a version 2 a day later.
