Being blue and left in a red state can be hard. When I see a message starting to break through it makes me emotional. Being willing to take a stand in front of your family and neighbors is a big deal in these places. Progress is infuriatingly slow, but I refuse to completely give up on KY.

There will be much larger crowds at #nokings @indivisible.org events in big cities, but this is what interests me most: people turning out in small cities and rural, deep red places.

I’m in the burbs north west of Tampa. A year ago had like 50 of us do a Kamala sign waving. We were terrified. I choked up when we got our first honk. Same spot yesterday for No Kings, we had just over 2200 ppl and honks 🥹
