Just a normal lad from Liverpool whose dream came true.

Like most, Futmob is my go-to football scores and stats app. However, I am not having Joelinton 'getting his name on the scoresheet' for an assist. Also '76 minutes after his disallowed goal'?!

And now you're gonna believe us...

I'm much more optimistic after that performance than after Everton or the Wolves second half.

Who's worse - Rio Ferdinand or Michael Oliver?

Which performance would you prefer? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Amara Nallo is going to be a hell of an answer in a niche pub quiz in a few years

Suddenly, things are looking much clearer at Anfield

Proper scumbag performance from Leicester this

Head injury, ref? No?

Probably not the take from this game but Tyler Dibling is a hell of a player. Ball progression cheat code.

So close to a Joe Gomez goal! Is tonight the night?!

Mo Salah has scored in 7 Premier League games in a row.

The record for most consecutive Premier League games scored in in a row is 11 (Jamie Vardy).

Salah's next 5 league games are as follows:
Fulham (H)
Spurs (A)
Leicester (H)
West Ham (A)
Man United (H)

Another record for Mo?

Great game. Nice of us to get all our defensive mistakes out in one go, having made barely any all season

I like Jarrell Quansah, but not at right back.

The European champions and Premier League champions each came to Anfield within 4 days of each and both got played off the park. Keep those crowns warm, lads.

Strange going into this game as favourites. Feels like we do better with an underdog tag against City. However Slot's Liverpool have demonstrated a swagger and confidence as if they're the best team on the pitch in every game. More of that today. We're in charge now!

Konaté might be out, but Joe Gomez is not to be sniffed at.

Liverpool are now the leading men's team in world football according to the Opta Power Rankings.

Their 2-0 win over Real Madrid took them above Internazionale, meaning they are top for the first time since 22 August 2022.

Can they stay there, though?

Real Madrid without Vinicius, Rodrygo, Tchouaméni, Militão, Carvajal and Alaba you say? Wouldn't mind a week like this

Just win, Liverpool!

Don't think City were this bad in 2019/20. Bear in mind the late equaliser v Arsenal and late winner v Wolves. We *could* be 11 points clear of them by 6pm next Sunday!
