If Trump had just let her have the U.N. job and the Ambassador’s apartment in Manhattan, it’s unlikely we’d have to stomach a gubernatorial campaign from this God-awful wretch. That said, I’ll enjoy watching Elise Stefanik run a dishonest campaign against Mamdani and predictably lose to Hochul.

The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.
And giving in now will embolden him. Things will likely get worse.

The gawl of these traitors coming back with “they promised us a vote.” Do they think we are as stupid and craven as they are? I’m so pissed-off and I don’t care how he voted - this cowardice has Chuck Schumer’s name all over it. 😡

"The GOP promises to hold a vote to extend subsidies" is just "The Roadrunner has painted a tunnel on the side of this mountain" but in a different font.

I would refer the eight craven and spineless Senators to Tuesday’s election results. Literally NO ONE asked you to do that and NO ONE is going to forgive you for it. NO ONE.

If you’re explaining today why you folded and stabbed your constituents and the whole Democratic Party in the back, just don’t. Please resign immediately. You are the problem.

Dems Reward the Hostage-Taker
Perhaps ending the shutdown was the responsible thing to do. But by caving, Democrats risk legitimizing Trump’s maximum-pain shutdown tactics.
