As a multiple language speaker it's also frustrating to see people using AI for translation because the English speaking world tends to treat translators like workers for hire instead of co authors of text and this feels like more of it. Translation at the literary level is creative work.

I thought that the Arcadion was OOC for T'khot but actually no, it links all very well to his themes, his willingness to hide his true personality in service of making people happy or entertained. He had already forced himself into a construed character in ARR for the benefit of the masses #ffxiv

Idr if I alr said it but I think one of the biggest factors for Shadowbringers' success as a story with a custom character (at least for me) is the way it lends itself so well to making alt versions of said character in your head. Titania WoL. Lightwarden WoL. Azem... creative prompts galore #ffxiv
