Hello, I am not a career artist due to health barriers but I have done: traditional and digital drawing, watercolor, traditional and digital photography, and graphic design. I like nature, history, and cool imaginary creatures. #PortfolioDay
I still have the VHS set. It was bright blue for some reason.
Ow, it hit me right in the childhood.
Incredible stuff from "Dinosaurs: Fun, Fact, and Fantasy", 1982, with the voice of the legendary Derek Griffiths
The Jack Hills within that region are now in a protected site, so existing samples are from before it was closed. It is protected because the rocks there are very special. They’re the oldest on earth, and their crystals contain chemical evidence of the first life on earth.
THIS IS MY FANTASTIC BIRTHDAY ROCK. It is a polished slice of 3.5-4 billion year old metaconglomerate. This means it started as mixed sediment deposits in a shallow sea. They were smashed into stone and then twisted, crushed, heated, and cooled to end up in the Narryer Gneiss terrane in Australia.
My toxic autistic trait is that every time I see a cool historically significant vehicle of any persuasion I become convinced it is my life’s purpose to ride in it.
Now that I think of it, it’s not fair of me to be mad at my body for packing away toxic levels of iron as ferritin and refusing to use any of it even when it threatens my life while I (my brain) am packing away canned/dried food, iodine pills, water, and dog food and barely affording to feed myself.
Never give up, never surrender
None of our news was posting about it and even now there is very little. That’s also scary. I learned only from a video by a person in France that letters can’t get here. I can’t see as many videos or news from other countries either anymore.
My rock from Australia still isn’t here and I’ve never been so stressed. These are very special rocks you can’t get anymore and there’s nothing like them anywhere else on earth. I had no idea our international mail system was this broken. I don’t recommend shipping anything to USA right now.
I am desensitized to how to videos for tear gas protection, food shortage preparation, and surviving raids and I’m spiraling because I just became aware.

I miss being afraid of a damn virus.
Honorable mention for Hocus Pocus and Blackbeard’s Ghost which fall just outside the time period mentioned. Blackbeards Ghost was funny though.
I don’t know what Disney was on in the 70s and 80s but they were all about traumatizing some kids real bad with these weird horror movies. I’m here for it.

Watcher in the Woods, Something Wicked This Way Comes, Mr. Boogedy, Escape to Witch Mountain. They don’t traumatize em like they used to.
Also I use that same pencil for sketching good choice
It has scanning alien implant at the grocery store checkout energy for sure
I grew a potato baby
I’m kicking myself for missing the chance to end with “make it so” omg
Yes and you should definitely do more Star Trek because I been rewatching it. X files is also acceptable. You have your orders.
“For us of the minority, the opportunity to see geese is more important than television, and the chance to find a pasque-flower is a right as inalienable as free speech.” - Aldo Leopold
Spiders and cranberries must be fall
Oof also. But… we try. And I feel like that’s worth something.
The story of park rangers is one of the deepest love. It transcends tragedy to become a monument of human spirit. I am so proud of my dad.
I was in a national wildlife refuge a day before the government shutdown. One of the rangers gave me the book “A Sand County Almanac” by Aldo Leopold for finishing a series of activities. The last act of that person in their potentially ended career was to keep reaching out. As I read it, I cry.
Minnesota things, no edits.
