I got emailed to fill in a form for the council housing register. I have been on the register since I was homeless 3 years ago. I bid on properties most weeks. I've got a feeling they will kick me off. It was a long form.

I haven't seen a psychiatrist since end of march so she said she will chase up an appointment for me.

I saw my mental health nurse. I waited almost an hour. She apparently had a home visit before but got stuck. I didn't mind though. I was glad to see her before she goes away. She gave me the duty phone number again and said call if your struggling. I will see her in 6 weeks.

Helped at Church this morning and saw the lovely Dog again. Threw the ball a few times and gave him a good stroke. About to see the community psychiatric nurse soon before she goes away.

I discovered all the post all over the hallway this evening. I have put the post back in a carrier bag and put a note on it saying this is post for your flat if you don't want the post then bin this bag.

Not sure if my neighbour is imminently moving in. Heard them this afternoon and then they came back this evening briefly. I share entrance hallway with them and have been stacking their post (often to the occupier letters) next to their door since June.

Alot of prayer today. I did morning and evening prayer from the daily prayer app. Also said a few personal prayers. Watched live stream of evensong from midfield community of the resurrection monastery. It has all been comforting.

Done some chores this morning which was good. I also did the morning prayer from the daily prayer as well which I don't usually do. I got my water and sewage bill which has gone up from £32 to £33 a month. So expensive to live.

I've been for my morning walk. Saw 2 Dogs. One of them being the dog with the elderly lady in the mobility scooter again. I also saw a cat walking along too. The leaves are really coming down now.

It was wonderful to do the daily prayer app again this evening. They sang the Magnificat (The Song of Mary) which I enjoy. All these little things help get me by and survive another day 🙏.

It's been a peaceful day for me today. Church on Sunday often gives me a boost. I feel very thankful 🙏.

Just vacuumed the carpet of my main living and sleeping room. I have a dark carpet so its hard to notice any dirt but I have noticed after I have vacuumed.

I've been for my morning walk. Seems calm out. I saw 2 Dogs. I said hello to the elderly lady with her mobility scooter and Dog again. I often am politely greeted by elderly people on my walks and always say a morning or hello in kind.

The council found me a privately rented flat and I have been living here for 3 years now. I am more comfortable with what I need now. I have been going to my new church for about 3 years as well. I briefly spent 8 days in hospital again in 2023 but this is now my longest run out.

Eventually with the assistance I was discharged to a hotel for 6 weeks. I got so much joy from being able to charge my phone when I like and able to make a tea from the kettle when I wanted. I sometimes pinch myself now about it. Freedom is precious.

My phone and tablet were my main forms of entertainment. It could be difficult getting them charged as staff often claimed they were busy. I use to rotate those devices and use Twitter to get support.

I would usually have my vitals checked 4 times a day (blood pressure, temperature and oxygen mainly). Shaving once a week was supervised. We had COVID lockdowns where we couldn't leave the ward not even for the main eating hall which was far more spacious with it's own garden.

Every week or so I would see new patients arrive and leave. I got to make friends with some patients and I think talking to some helped them recover. It was difficult being on the ward for so long. There were set times for medication and mealtimes.

I still often recall being homeless for 6 months in 2022. For 4 and half months I was homeless in a psychiatric hospital. Although my section 3 ended after 6 weeks I had nowhere to go so stayed in hospital. In hindsight it reminds me of the film 'The Terminal'.

I spent 2 hours laying in bed under my duvet hugging Snoopy this noon. I feel bad like I'm being lazy but I find this activity relaxing these days. I kept thinking my neighbours were talking about me but it's just my mind filling in the blanks of barely audible conversation.

The service at Church was wonderful again. The sermon was about the healing of the 10 Lepers (Luke 17:11-19). That made me reflect on my own situation.

I'm a little early for Church again so sitting out here. It wasn't misty getting here this morning but you can see it a bit out to sea. I'm looking forward to the service.

Did my evening daily prayer app - such wonderful choir music. Listened to good sermon by Tim Keller on YouTube. Made me think I need to work on my Christian hope. I don't know how but need to worry less be more hopeful. Also watched a video explaining the Anglican communion.

I've recently got this magnetic 🧲 brush and it seems to work well. It's a bit tricky to deploy but I've just cleaned one window today which is my main window in my main room. Hadn't been done in the 3 years I've been here but wasn't to bad anyway. It's a bit better though.
