Except they end up mostly doing the same thing, repeating many of the mistakes others learned from. Sometimes they don't even learn from themselves, such as how Super Mario Maker 1 eventually had an official website to share and queue up levels, which they didn't bother to recreate/modify for SMM2.

Years ago I whitelisted a site I trusted, but one of their ads used an injection exploit to maliciously target Windows. I didn't even have to click on it, it just had to appear. Caused me hell to clean up.

It's the 40th anniversary of the New York test launch of the NES - nationwide rollout wouldn't happen until late in 1986.

I have no nostalgia for the console from its early days (more so for NESticle!), but its history is fascinating, and it has become one of my favourites in recent years.

The new GaMetal cover of Grapple Force Rena's final boss theme has me thinking about what these two might be up to 7 years later... (besides stealing each other's hair lengths)
