PSA: Mariah Carey is soooooo much more than just Christmas. She deserves respect.
I'm not a fan of werewolves, but this is probably the best of the spooky seasons (along with Near Dark, but as a vampire fan that one was expected to please.)
"A naked American stole my balloons."

An American Werewolf in London was much better than I expected since it was a lot more comedic (I expected a serious film) than I thought.
Wait, Alan Quatermaine (Stuart Damon) was in it and I missed it?

(I'm (Au)ADHD, I miss a lot in films)

Monty let him do this?
This week's Sunday Vintage Movie was Star 80 (1983). Eric Roberts was quite the hottie as a youth and does disturbed so well without being campy like his daughter (who I do adore), despite the movie being campy (it is Fosse). Seemed a bit ahead of his time...wait, this was based on a real story?

Just as I was starting to get over jet lag comes the time change and eternal darkness…
On the fence with Brassic...two episodes into the second series and not sure if I want to continue with it. Anyone see it?

The soapiness of the last two episodes of the first series made me continue it, but I'm back on the fence with it.
I sped read through Welcome to the World, Baby Girl by Fannie Flagg.

While it is problematic for reasons I won't go into here, that doesn't mean it isn't a good read, as it is. It sort of felt like a Sidney Sheldon-Adriana Trigiani-Jodi Picoult mashup. #BookSky
Your Halloween skeletons can and should be repurposed for other holidays. A Giant Skeleton wearing a Santa Hat brings joy after it prepares Thanksgiving. It later can be Cupid, St. Patrick, the Easter Bunny, etc.

Near Dark (1987) is flawed but a lot of fun. I wonder if Pam would approve of this as good vampire cinema or not. I wonder what exactly the vampire rules are in it...we then started An American Werewolf in London which is a lot different than I thought it would be, more dark comedy which I like.
Written in 1960s but takes place in the 50s. It’s short but kicks off a series.
Fuck the Dodgers. From someone who offered support to the Giants in exchange for support for FC Barcelona.
Finished Nobody Wants This. Leighton Meester's guest role was my fave part...mainly watched this for Brody. It's not a bad show, but I don't think I'd tune in for a third season (unless for more Leighton. Blair Waldorf and Seth Cohen for life :P)
Saw this Pileated woodpecker on a short hike this morning #Birds
May the odds be ever in your favour. I don’t think I could do that.
As no Christmas until the first Friday after the fourth Thursday until November.
It’s time! To listen to the other physical cd
A movie you’ve seen more than 7 times with a gif
Need a hug. Feel everything about me is wrong and I'm just an annoyance :-/
And have to not finish another two for just being bad. Bad batch of library books sigh.
Halloween spooky movie night:

Finished Society (1989). Billy Warlock! But just too gross for me, so glad I'm still falling asleep during movies thanks to still jet lagged. Then we started Near Dark (1987), which so far is a good vampire flick with dreamy Adrian Pasdar.
Rewatching Practical Magic to have ir fresh in my mind for next year.

Sandra and Nicole are two of my top actresses, and this somehow improves every time I watch it.

Claudia was sooo investigating witchcraft herself.
