And Breathe: The Game That Forgot How to Wait
Football hasn’t changed as much as we think. It still takes time to build. It still takes time to grow.

A lot of ‘it’s only Wolves, it’s what we should be doing’ going around on here. Fair point, but some positives for me from the game…

- Ayden Heaven’s passing is excellent
- Having Martinez back so important
- A fit Mason Mount is very good
- Bruno Fernandes plays for us
- We worked hard and won

I really really hope they all recognise the harrying, the pressing, the doggedness they showed there in the lead up to that Amad chance resultant passage of play for Mount’s goal. They actually worked to earn that position on the pitch and it paid dividends. Well done!

Half time thoughts…

Same old, same old. Fail to take the good chances we create. Allow the opposition to build in confidence. Stop running. Pressing. Winning second balls. Concede. They’re just a really dumb side. That’s all I’ve got. Dumb. We may well go on to win this. Who knows? But bloody hell.

Just asking for it.
When people say, “putting the ball in the net is the hardest thing in football”, this United team are the biggest advocates of it. Could be 3 up here. As we could have been at Spurs, against Everton and West Ham. Please don’t let this profligacy come back to bite us again lads.

Team I’d probably go with this evening. Dreading it to be honest but we’ve probably been better away from Old Trafford of late so let’s see what United turns up.

Does anyone else enjoy watching players’ reactions to goals when replays are shown? Not necessarily the goalscorer, but team mates. Wharton and Raul Jiminez good examples in yesterday’s game. Proper punching the air celebrations.

Can someone tell Alex Hartley on #TMS what tennis ball bounce actually is? She seems to think that it’s any ball that bounces higher than expected. It’s infuriating. @tmsproducer.bsky.social

Just a bunch of gaslighters this England team. Their reactions to getting out are laughable. “Not my fault, Gov!” as they look at the pitch, their bats, the man in the crowd with a loud shirt and any other excuse they can find so they don’t have to do some introspection.

Really struggle with Michael Vaughan. For all his brilliance as a cricketer & England captain, he’s a hard listen on TMS. Managed to tell listeners on two occasions already that he’s been “bored” during this extended break between test matches. An all expense paid trip to Australia. Perspective.

Just watching Only Connect and found out that Antoine Griezmann’s 3 children (born in separate years) all share the same birthday. That’s a fun fact.

I know football isn’t always rational and it brings out all sorts of emotions every single week, but there seems to be a recurring theme on here of people highlighting the areas United need to strengthen, yet still expecting fully polished performances every game.
November 30, 2025 at 8:10 PM
I’m smiling. Away wins far too few and far between of late. Hard-fought. Awful first half performance. Stepped it up in the second half. Imagine where we could be if they actually ran around for a full 90 minutes!

Exactly what we all expected.

Is it just me or have we looked our best this season when Lammens has just gone long? We’re very lethargic when we knock it around at the back and it rarely results in the ball getting into the final 3rd.
November 30, 2025 at 12:17 PM
As with most on here, not too expectant of much today. Pretty poor record at Selhurst Park of late and Monday doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. You’d think they’d be even more up for it taking that performance into account, but we’re all far too experienced to know that this lot aren’t too arsed.

Like, doesn’t he hate Christmas? I don’t get it 😂
On a similar note, don’t understand Argos’ angle of people thinking they only sell toys. It’s not as if they used to have a whopping great catalogue with literally everything in it! Pointless rant about annoying adverts over.
Fucking hell, in the same as break i've seen two adverts for two different things using the fucking Grinch.

Twenty years ago hardly anyone in the UK knew who the green fucker was.

Terrible against Arsenal
