"Boardwalk" is a watercolor painting of a long raised wooden walkway extending from the viewer, over a small creek, and towards the blue line of the Pacific Ocean under an early evening sky. The palette is the greys and browns of weathered wood, combined with cool greens and blues from the water and the foliage of the shrubs and plants along the boardwalk, which in turn give way to the tawny dune grass and the delicate pinks and corals of the sky.
