The Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Ballroom as depicted and described is too big for the purpose it is supposed to have. Like twice as big as it needs to be. I think this is one giant boondoggle.
Because the Republicans shattered the norms in destroying the country, we can shatter the norms in rebuilding it.
I'm so tired of his whining. It is weird a President is this thin skinned and volatile.
Seems like an important detail

I don’t think unrealized gains should be taxed.

However, getting a loan against unrealized gains should count as a realization of those gains. Borrow $10 million against the $1 billion company you founded? Great job! That is $10 million you earned and should be taxed on
For every dollar of SNAP benefits Trump prevents from being spent, he is reducing the GDP by $1.50.
“According to a 2019 USDA report, every dollar in new SNAP benefits increases GDP by $1.50 in a weak economy.”

“SNAP benefits are one of the fastest, most effective forms of economic stimulus because they get money into the economy quickly during a recession.”

Trump is turning America into a police state.

Let's start using the right language.
The reports on the terrorist attack... what? Oh, Trump did this? His legacy will be about adding to the stain on this country instead of improving the country.

I’m still processing the fact that the President of the United States posted a fake video of himself dumping shit on the peacefully protesting Americans he was elected to serve.

I don’t care if you are a R or a D. Whether you voted for me or not. I am here to serve EVERY PERSON in my district.
His top priority is building the Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Ballroom when the government is in a shutdown?
What function will the Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Ballroom serve? How many massive gala functions does the White House put on in a year that couldn't be better served at other locations in DC?
I don't understand the purpose of the Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Ballroom.
But it doesn't have communication antennae to send and receive message from home base!
Reagan was wrong about so many things but he was right about global trade.
I don't understand why the Jeffery Epstein Memorial Ballroom is necessary. How many gala functions does the White House put on in a year? How often will this massive structure actually be used? Will public money normally spent at other private venues now stay within the government?
Remember, Mike Johnson has put Congress on a PAID VACATION. When was the last time you had 20+ days off with pay?

Actual "news" outlets are comparing Obama expanding the White House tennis court into a multipurpose tennis court and basketball court to Trump's demolition of the East Wing.

If the DOJ hasn’t destroyed every piece of the Epstein files, I’d be shocked. It may be illegal, but who’s going to hold them accountable?
I know I keep talking about that Trump video but so many thoughts...

The scatalogical "humor" of it really makes me think of those Russian compromat videos colloquially known as the "pee tapes"... doesn't this lend more credence to Trump's obsession with excretions?
The global economy as the US has molded it, hell CAPITALISM, requires the free movement of resources, money, and labor. Capitalism fails because labor doesn't move freely, but we had growth in part because we decluttered the tarrifs and promoted free trade.
And this is the stuff he releases to the public. What kind of stuff is kept private?
