Designing a website that doesn't look like absolute shit is proving to be one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.
There are countless guides/templates for building something functional, but when it comes to style, I guess there aren't any shortcuts. You just need an eye for that sorta thing

One nagging thing that bugged me about Marie's design, is that if you cropped her from the knees up (common for comic panels) her hat didn't match anything, which never looked right to me.
Someone smarter than me suggested gloves, so I tried it. Does it work, or does it look too 'contrived'?

I'm thinking when I get back to drawing the comic, I'll start posting after I finish the first couple pages, so I don't feel trapped in the same bubble.
Only problem is that means I need to get back to working on the website (and figuring out a better title)😞

Drawing this comic has completely drained me mentally and it's maybe 20% finished?
I think I'm going to put it on hold indefinitely before I put my head through a wall. Focus on little drawings for now...
