NGL cozy is a thing I don't mind when it comes to Pinterest mood boards or whatever but it always bodes ill when big IPs start to use it. Its kind of like how the Hobbit Stardew vally rip off wound up being inert when it didn't have the long walk to Mordor a head of it.

NGL I do think part of what made Mass Effect enjoyable for me at the time was that it was kind of one of the first games I played that took its self seriously and it wasn't as broy as say Gears of War and Halo.

As someone who was into them as they were coming out and still loves Mass Effect 2 for me it was the first time games took themselves seriously and it wasn't dower in the way GTA IV was to me.

NGL it was seeing emo's on Tick tock doing the whole we got to go back to the 00s for me I was their and I just remember in my social circles and culture at large being emo was basically a slur.

Like we joke about horse amour being an excessive dlc practice but to me Mass Effect 3 repersents the worst of the 00s like how does Kei Lang and Tatuncka exist in the same game just moments apart from each other.

NGL imagine making one of the most important games in your franchise and giving the ok to lock one of the endings behind a decent multiplayer mode and you have one of the most important party members as on disk dlc the PS3 360 era was just wild.

That being said I think long tutorials in themselves can be nightmares. That being said its not a jrpg unless your ten hours in and you just beat the tutorial.

NGL I think Pokemon as a franchise is always in that unfortunate position where its the one so called casual game that a lot of hardcore gamers tm actually enjoy. I really think its a franchise where its bread and butter are kids getting their first Switch.
