I've ranted about it a lot, but the fact that the game has a dozen different mechanics that layer up to do nothing and engaging with them means you're just playing worse, is genuinely a feat in an action game

I think the game does have an actual issue with forcing you to engage in bad mechanics, like probablyt the most tedious teleporter maze, even if it wasn't hard-- because you were locked into 15 seconds of animations each warp

Seeing the origin of the Olympos XII in this world was a lot more interesting than yet another "The Royal Knights are doing a genocide" plot, even if it took forever for some of them to show up or do something (Sorry Ceresmon and Minervamon respectively)

I think overall this game is an upgrade to Cyber Sleuth, even without factoring in content or QoL. The gameplay is a lot more in depth and the writing while a lot weaker until a specific point, it shoots up a SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT after (rot13) gur erirny gung gur cynlre naq bcrengbe nera'g erny
