What’s worse is that I’m already seeing odd criticism of the show lately from people who either grew out of the show or just weren’t crazy about it to begin with. It’s kind of making me feel bad about really loving the show.

While I’m excited for the third season of Smiling Freinds, I’m worried that it might be the point where it’ll end up like a certain BTTF parody show where people start making fun of it for being popular, it’s fandom will be labeled “toxic”, and it just won’t be cool anymore.
