I'm not even sure what I'm getting at here. 😄 Maybe still be focused on the photography side, but do more basic stuff that can apply to cosplayers taking their own photos more (solo or cosplayers together with no photog) so than trying to speak to photographers or potential ones through my videos.

Even so the bigger audience in cosplay just wants to see pretty cinema style footage of cosplayers. I get that and it makes sense. CMVs were one thing I removed from my channel back when I split stuff up. Adding that back in is probably a bad idea with how YT has historically worked.

With the anime My Dress-up Darling, it pointed out tips and such for cosplay photography in a fun and informational way. I feel like my stuff does go that direction, but my packaging is bad and the POV footage isn't ideal.

Case in point is my convention/cosplay photography playlist I still have on the main channel and still make those POV photography style videos for. All of that stuff only has ~22k views. So maybe I've made and marketed this stuff to myself but the audience for that isn't there.

A long time ago now I separated a lot of the cosplay and convention stuff from my main YouTube channel. Kind of like taking the flavor out of a drink, maybe it wasn't for the best for creating a "community" but overall my imaginary audience probably don't exist much.

In general I'd want to be careful with any footage I have of two group cosplay photo meetups I used to attend out of politeness to the hosts of those events. Though, there were a few public place events I've attended that could work. One group is active I could join in more often with too.

Right now it would be mostly talk/photos and GoPro footage of conventions. Unless I got back into on-location photoshoots. I'd have to find people willing to be in videos. Sometimes cosplayers are a bit closed off to anything outside of showing the final result. IMO, BTS is a lot more interesting.

I just got access to this course feature on YouTube for my PB channel. Not sure what it does & how it works. Maybe a cosplay/convention photography course? I've got an old self published book from ages ago plus notes on revising it.

Saw a terrible twitchcon clip... Damn. 🤢👎 Another failure of Twitch's security and policies. Besides that humans so broken they would attempt assault or whatever that **** was trying to do. I hope they arrested him but now likely more legal hassle for the streamer related to crazies. 💢

www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k2X... A long time viewer suggested this documentary. ~7 minutes in and "Mr. Polaroid" sounds intense! 😄 His GF and him would sneak into a physics lab to do glare reducing experiments, calling it "a transient violent need to create". I'm not that extreme, but I get it.

Adobe emailed an old address. Thought it was fake, ignored it. Got another. I copy-pasted the domain name to be sure. Was legit. Their offer wasn't good (one year of SaS), so I asked for a paid sponsorship. Even said I've been critical of Adobe but open if it can help my readers/viewers. We'll see.

Michaels is a fun store to browse. I did go there to pick up that cardstock for photography on the 14th. A few other snapshots I took while there. 📷✨ Since then I've been mostly focused on Internet equipment stuff.

Doing an Internet connectivity update. Spent all of the time filming b-roll for this adapter, two sets of cat8 network cables, and troubleshooting. 😄 I think I'm going to pass on doing videos about the modem & router/firewall. Security through obscurity as they say. 😄

What happens when you don't look at the setup guide in detail? You connect both ports on both adapters and DDOS your router even shutting down wifi. Then spend an hour+ trying different cables, plugs, and other troubleshooting. 😮‍💨🤣👏 The adapter to the switch/router should only have one cable. #tplink
