It infuriates me that this article says doctors don’t acknowledge the gender gap.

There’s literally an Ontario hospital studying the gender gap and proving it to be a very real thing.

Women - especially young women and women who are alone - are frequently dismissed /12

When I was 19, I went to the doctor to try to find out why I was lactating, even though I was not pregnant. "It just happens sometimes" she said. I asked if I should have my hormones tested. "I don't want to waste money on expensive tests for nothing" she said. Spoiler: It was a brain tumor.
