Put them in my ears around midnight. The #Huawei FreeBuds SE 4 lasts 10 hours on a single charge using the ANC and no music.

Now, Apple's track record on firmware updates is great - the AirPods 4 ANC went from basshead to pleasant - so I expect it will get fixed in the future.

Now I get where the #AirPodsPro3 sound criticasters come from: the loudest volume levels.

It's here that the new #AirPods lose their magnificent warm balance and go all-in on treble all of a sudden.

On these levels, music sounds open, but also too shouty. Apple needs to fix this.

The live translation feature of the #AirPodsPro3, #AirPodsPro2 and #AirPods4 is pretty rad.

Of course, it’s hard to follow French as the language is just so fast - but getting the gist of it 5 to 10 seconds later in your ears, in English - yeah - that’s pretty brilliant!

The #AirPodsPro3 are in and the combination of the new fit and ANC is special:

- ANC itself feels very strong

- Doesn’t entirely block wind noise

- A smile or singing along is enough to push the ear tips out and lose the best ANC and seal

- I’ve never heard my own eating so weirdly and metallic
