i mention this every chance I can - the majority of scripting for The Rise of the Golden Idol was done on and multiple of Windows production builds were exported right from Linux, so, in terms of Godot gamedev, Linux is a nobrainer.

I lost track of how many times I've saved a new file in Blender, wrote a name that already exists and clicked Save only to then see the name turn red.
Then I have to rename, find the backup copy for the accidentally overwritten file and re-save that with proper name.
