Oh this is why I’m interviewing new dads. Hs asked me to pay his mortgage after I offered gas money for the holidays, although he has an infinity, is retired, & cosplays back a father do his sisters surplus children. He’s capable just doesn’t want to. If confronted DARVO & gaslighting.
I was around 9 when my father told me “you’re just like your mother. No man is gonna want to be with you, you’re going to die alone; & if someone is stupid enough to marry you they’ll leave for a gallon of milk & never come back because you are awful. You are absolutely awful.

Please remember that you don’t have to “number your minority statuses.” If you’re BIPOC, & also LGBTQIA+, these are two parts of who you are. Anyone who makes you prioritize one struggle over another isn’t a friend or an ally. Bsky has a problem with minimizing BIPOC issues & ignoring criticism.

I was given excellent wisdom when I was younger. After the third time someone makes the same joke it’s no longer a joke. If someone makes a joke about you being too ugly for your partner it’s not a joke anymore. It’s enemy action in a ghillie suit. We teach people how to treat us; call it out.
