My contribution to last week's rally. #NoKings
Good luck getting a doc in rural areas! It's all NP and PA, no MD. And if you absolutely need to see a doc, it's at least a month's wait, even for illness.
The irony of being a federal employee who can't even read the article because of the paywall 🫠 #NotGettingPaidButStillWorking

This is what Republicans used to be. No more.
I impulsively decided to try linocut.

Yikes. The original def looks ai to me too. They really should be stopped for false advertising 😖
Those are sooooo cute! 🌈♥️
I had pet mice! They eventually made too many babies (we had over 100 at one point eek!). We ended up donating a bunch to an owl sanctuary 🫣

Proud to be a part of this (holding one of those red lights!) last night

They tried to stop us, stranding drivers on the bridge with no warning.

Luckily, Jacksonville is a city of many bridges and we'll light them all up ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
1. Florida banned cities from lighting up bridges rainbow colors for Pride.

So the people of Jacksonville did it themselves using flashlights and gels.

They opened the drawbridge to block them.

So they marched to a different bridge.

Tuesday evening reminder: Write the book. Make the zine. Pack the shelves. Fill the world with so many stories they'll never be able to silence us all.

At the end of the day, don’t we all just want to read books in a Scottish Highlands cottage during a pouring rain whilst enjoying a plate of emotional support cinnamon rolls?
That's so cute! We've had a ton of crows in our yard this year. My dream of being the neighborhood witch lady who can call down crows is slowly coming to fruition!
Awesome! Thank youuuuu!
Oh that's good to know!! How did you do the layout? Are the measurements a standardized thing available somewhere? I'm always so thrown off by formatting.
Thank you for sharing these progress pictures! I'm working on a graphic memoir(ish) thing now and kiiiiind of winging it because I don't know what I'm doing! It's so helpful to see how someone else works it all out! These look SO good!
Awkward teenage me. I'm going to be working on a graphic memoir(ish) about growing up queer and (undiagnosed) Neurodivergent in the 90s. Watch my Substack if you want to follow along.
Does this count for #MerMay? 😝

Congrats to Canada on picking a Liberal government and rejecting the stink of Trumpism!

Elbows up!

Canadian Voter: I think who I voted for would be the best to take care of Trump, because Trump is, I’m sorry to say, an asshole.
In my experience, the ideas that come from sketching are always better than what my brain thinks up alone.
In response to all the terrible things happening right now, I've been pushing my introverted self to be more involved with the community. I got appointed to the local library board and started volunteering with our closest Pride group. I made this poster for their art show. #illustration #pride
