I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue this week, alongside multiple other phenomenal team members.

At our Summit, I was asked how it felt to be 1 of 2 Black women left and what that meant for representation. Now, there are no Black women at Teen Vogue and that is incredibly painful to think about.

wowww. Our Boulder, CO one wouldn't let us canvas in the parking lot to get on the ballot to allow more than 3 roommates in a house. They refuse to join the city bus pass program for employees. Not been a fan, but now... target who?

Grad students are struggling. If anyone wants to venmo me (SDofEarth) to keep buying from my farmers at the end of the market, I will put it to good use. If at CU Boulder, you can also bring me veggies & fruit. We have a Basic Needs Center, but many families can't access it for different reasons.

I run free food distributions for grad students. This weekend I was talking with a woman in year 2 of a Mechanical Engineering PhD, and she lost all her NSF funding. She said everyone she knows working on earth sci projects lost funding. How will they graduate? Less engineers seems bad for USA.

Heard and... We did fund meaningful and impactful projects in NDN country with CU offsets. Which makes me think that there is still room for small scale options for folks who want to offset flights/work travel and fund renewable energy projects for tribes.
